I have been a fitness instructor for 25 years and love my job. I am passionate about introducing people to fitness and feel I am so lucky to live in the Lake District and use the outdoors for our sessions.

My aim is to understand why you want to get fit and putting together a programme that will suit your lifestyle and get the best results.

I use a wide variety of methods to improve fitness, and vary your workouts to constantly challenge you and keep you motivated.

Getting the medal for taking part in Triathlon X. The hardest bike section of any Ironman in the world

I took part in an 18-hour endurance Triathlon X with the hardest bike section of any Ironman in the world in June 2016 at the age of 50. With the knowledge gained, I can help you train for any challange big or small!!


I have a wide range of qualifications in health and fitness and I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training and a Level 4 Training and Education Certificate where I conducted action research into using technology in fitness. I am a qualified Kettlercise, Boxercise, Rebounding and FBX instructor and love putting together my own creative tabata workouts. 

I am REPS registered and am constantly updating my knowledge and skills.

I have had 25 years experience of coaching adults and young people and have great enthusiasm, motivation and energy.

In 2014, Workout Warriors featured in the Channel 4 documentary on the Great North Swim. Having a fear of the water since childhood, I have recently swam 2.4 miles in open water doing the breast stroke. I hope to help you achieve something you thought wasn't possible.
